Empowering Organ Teachers and Students Towards a Brighter Future . . .

Supporting Education and Innovation . . .

The American Guild of Organists (AGO) developed Pipe Organ Encounters (POEs) to teach youth and adults about the pipe organ. POEs run seven days. The Los Angeles AGO Chapter’s next POE will run from Sunday, June 21, 2026, through Saturday, June 27, 2026. A POE offers group and individual organ lessons, performances by great organ artists, and trips to see, play, and listen to important local pipe organs. Financial support comes from the Associated Pipe Organ Builders of America (APOBA), with added support from the American Institute of Organ Builders (AIOB) and the Jordan Organ Endowment. Scholarships are available to worthy applicants through the AGO’s New Organist Fund.
